Wade Hampton McCree, Jr. was a judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. [1]

Sixth Circuit

McCree was nominated to the Sixth Circuit by Lyndon Johnson on August 16, 1966 to a seat created by 80 Stat. 75. He was confirmed by the Senate on September 7, 1966 and received his commission that same day. He resigned on March 28, 1977.

Eastern District of Michigan

McCree was previously a judge for the Eastern District of Michigan. He was nominated to this position by John F. Kennedy on September 18, 1961 to a seat created by 75 Stat. 80. He was confirmed by the Senate on September 23 and received his commission on September 29th. He served on this court until September 13, 1966.
