West Hughes Humphreys

West Hughes Humphreys (1806-1882) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of Tennessee.

He was nominated by President Franklin Pierce on March 24, 1853. He was confirmed by the Senate on March 26, 1853, and received commission that same day. He was impeached and convicted, so his service ended on June 26, 1862.
