William E. Callahan, Jr. is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He was appointed to this position in 1995.[1]

Education

Judge Callahan received his J.D. degree from Marquette University in 1973.[1]

Career

Judge Callahan began his career in 1973 with the law firm Goldberg, Previant & Uelmen. In 1975, he became an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He then became a First Assistant U.S. Attorney in 1982. From 1984 until his judicial appointment in 1995, he worked with the firm Davis & Kuelthau S.C.[1]
