William B. Hoffman is a judge on the Ohio Fifth District Court of Appeals. He has served in this position since February 1, 1991.[1] He was re-elected to 6-year terms in 1996, 2002[2] and 2008. His current term will expire on February 8, 2015.[3]
Education
Hoffman received his undergraduate degree from the College of Wooster and his law degree from The University of Akron School of Law. [1]
Legal career
Judge Hoffman worked for 11 years as a private practice lawyer, 10 years as a Canton prosecuting attorney, and then 3 years as a Canton Municipal Court Judge before he was elected to the Court of Appeals.[1]
