William Hungate

William Leonard Hungate (1922-2007) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
Hungate was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on May 17, 1979, to a new seat created by 92 Stat.1629; he was confirmed by the Senate on September 25, 1979, and received commission the next day. He assumed senior status on October 1, 1991, and retired on June 30, 1992.
