William Knous (1889-1959) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.
He was nominated by President Harry Truman on March 1, 1950 to replace John Foster Symes. He was confirmed by the Senate on April 4th, and received commission on April 7th. From 1954 to 1959, he was the chief judge. He served until his death on December 12, 1959. Knous was succeeded in this position by Olin Chilson.
