William W. Knox (1911-1981) was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Knox was nominated by President Richard Nixon on September 28, 1970, to a new seat created by 84 Stat. 294;[1] he was confirmed by the Senate on October 8, 1970, and received commission on October 14, 1970. He served the Western District of Pennsylvania until his death on August 30, 1981. Knox was succeeded in this position by Carol Mansmann.
