William Matthewman is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He was appointed to this position on July 2, 2012.[1]

Education

Matthewman received an undergraduate degree from Florida International University in 1981 and a J.D. from the University of Florida in 1983. Matthewman also holds a master's degree in Public Administration from Florida International University.[2][3]

Career

Matthewman began his professional career as a police sergeant in Miami. From there, he became a defense lawyer.[4]
