Wood County circuit judge to retire this month
Wisconsin: This month, after he has finished his last case, Wood County Circuit Judge James Mason is retiring after nearly 25 years on the court. Mason is 67 years old and states that he has no plans for retirement, though with three children and seven grandchildren he says he and his wife will spend more time with family. "The grandkids have stuff going on in their lives we want to enjoy, too," he said. Mason's term officially ends in July 2016, so Governor Scott Walker will appoint appoint a replacement to fill out the term and is accepting applications now.
