The York County Court of Common Pleas is a Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. It comprises the entire 19th Judicial District in Pennsylvania. It encompasses all of York County, Pennsylvania.

Overview

Ordinarily, judges serve 10 year terms. The assignments below are as of January 1, 2009. Assignments are not exclusive, as some judges will address motions for summary judgment and preliminary objections in civil cases, for instance, while serving primarily in the Family Law division. Dependency/juvenile criminal court also occupy large amounts of time for individuals such as John C. Uhler, for instance, though his primary category as shown below is "Family Law."
