Colorado judicial system
The structure of the Colorado judicial system is laid out in Article VI of the state Constitution. The state court system is made up of the Colorado Supreme Court, the Colorado Court of Appeals, the Colorado District Courts and various Courts with limited jurisdiction. The only federal district court in Colorado is the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Appeals are heard at the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
