Judge Denise D. Reilly

Denise D. Reilly is a Minnesota Fourth Judicial District judge for Hennepin County, Minnesota. She was appointed to this position in 1997 and was elected to full terms in 2000 and 2006. She is currently assigned to the Civil and Adult Criminal divisions and her term expires in January of 2013.

Judge Reilly began her legal career in 1983 as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Robert Renner. In 1985, she joined the law firm of Lindquist & Vennum, where she worked until 1989. She then became an Assistant U.S. Attorney, serving as Chief of the Narcotics and Firearms Section until her judicial appointment in 1997. She also works as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School.

Reillly received her B.A. degree from the College of Wooster in 1975 and her J.D. degree from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1983.[1]
