Gale T. Miller is a judge on the Colorado Court of Appeals. His appointment by Democratic Governor Bill Ritter was announced on August 22, 2008 and he took office on January 13, 2009.[1] The appointment is "for [a] provisional term of two years", and then until the second Tuesday in January follow the next general election." His term will end on January 8, 2013.[2] If retained by the voters thereafter, the term would be for eight years. Miller's current salary is $134,128. [3]

Legal career

Judge Miller as a trial attorney at the Federal Trade Commission from 1971-73, then joined firm Davis Graham & Stubbs. He became a partner in 1978 and worked in this position until his judicial appointment in 2008. He also served as the firm's managing partner from 1998 to 2001. Miller "has litigated in state and federal courts, as well as before state and federal administrative agencies and arbitration panels."[4][1]
