George Washington Ray
George Washington Ray (1844-1925) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.
He received a recess appointment from President Theodore Roosevelt on September 12, 1902 to fill a seat vacated by Alfred Conkling Coxe. On December 2, 1902, he was nominated. He was confirmed by the Senate on December 8, 1902, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on January 10, 1925.[1]
