Gregg E. Johnson is a Minnesota Second Judicial District judge for Ramsey County, Minnesota. He was appointed to this position on October 1, 1992 by Gov. Carlson. He was re-elected in 1994, 2000 and 2006 and his current term expires in January of 2013.[1]

Education

Judge Johnson was born in 1950. He received a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota in 1972 and a J.D. degree from the Hamline University School of Law in 1983. He also participated in the Mankato State University Master Program from 1975 to 1977.[1]

Career

Judge Johnson began his legal career as Metropolitan Council in 1974. He then worked as a Ramsey County Public Defender from 1984 until he was appointed to the District Court in 1992.[1]
