Hawaii judicial system
The structure of the Hawaii judicial system is laid out in Article VI of the state Constitution. At the state level there are two appellate courts: the Hawaii Supreme Court and Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals, and three trial courts: the Circuit, Family and District Courts. There are two federal courts in Hawaii: the District of Hawaii and the District of Hawaii Bankruptcy Court.
