Iowa judicial system
The structure of the Iowa judicial system is laid out in Article V of the state Constitution. The state court system is made up of the Iowa Supreme Court, the Iowa Court of Appeals and the Iowa district courts. The federal court system is made up of four Federal courts. Appeals from these courts are heard in the Eighth Circuit Court.
