John A. Olson is a judge for the 7th Judicial District in Oregon. The District has jurisdiction in Sherman, Wheeler, Wasco, Hood River and Gilliam Counties. He was appointed in December 2011 to replace retired judge Donald Hull. [1]

Education
Judge Olson earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Colorado and his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School.[3]
Career
Before his appointment in 2011 he was an Attorney with Morris, Olson, Smith, Starns & Raschio. Olson also served as a public defender in Twin Falls, Idaho.[3][1]
