John R. Morris

John R. Morris is a Utah Second Judicial District judge for Davis County, Utah for the Farmington District Court.[1] Judge Morris was first appointed to this position in September 2004.[2]

Biography

Morris received his bachelor's degree in Astrophysics from Princeton University and his MBA from Brigham Young University. He went on to receive his JD from Brigham Young University. After earning his degree, Morris worked for Pillsbury, Madison & Sutro in Califonia, and then for LeBoeuf, Lamb, Leiby & MacRae. He then helped found Snell & Wilmer L.L.P's Salt Lake Office. Morris was appointed to the Second District Court by Governor Olene S. Walker in September of 2004. He has served in that position since.[2]
