Judgepedia:Katy Farrell
Katy Farrell is the Associate Editor of Judgepedia. She joined the wiki as an Assistant Writer on February 1, 2010, became Project Director in September 2010 and took on the role as Associate Editor on April 1, 2012. She is responsible for managing the content of Judgepedia, in addition to helping our readers with concerns.
Her current projects include work on judicial selection, this year's judicial elections, and a variety of WikiProjects.
Katy has designed and added to projects including: the 2010 judicial elections, 2011 judicial elections, judicial selection pages, and the county pages for Judgepedia. In August of 2011, she live tweeted and wrote a report from a conference in Denver on Evaluating Appellate Judges.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Katy has always had interest in politics. In high school and college, she created objective voter guides for her friends and family during election seasons. Katy pursued her interest at The Ohio State University, receiving a bachelor's degree in Political Science.
Katy has lived in Ohio, Idaho, Oregon and California and has worked in a variety of industries. She has also volunteered on a gubernatorial campaign and with a trail angel on the Pacific Crest Trail.
Katy currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio. She is married with one dog and spends much of her time focusing on the renovation of her home, which has given her a chance to work in almost every trade. When not working, Katy enjoys running races and traveling throughout the country.
