Law license suspension
Marshall surrendered her law license on August 23, 2010, for a four year suspension. Her license was suspended by the Alabama State Bar disciplinary committee earlier in the month. After this occurred, the Democratic Party decided to remove Marshall as a candidate in the 2010 judicial election, though she has won the primary. [1] The Democratic Executive Committee chose Elisabeth French as their candidate to replace Marshall. [2]
