Missouri judicial system
The structure of the Missouri judicial system is laid out in Article V of the state Constitution. The state court system is made up of the Missouri Supreme Court, the Missouri Court of Appeals, the Missouri Circuit Courts, the Missouri Municipal Courts. The federal court system is made up of four federal courts. Appeals from these courts are heard in the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.
