Olivia N. Garcia was a judge of the Magistrate Court, Division 3, in Dona Ana County. She retired at the end of 2011, instead of facing disciplinary action by the New Mexico Supreme Court for "willful misconduct in office." [1]
2010 election
Garcia was unopposed in the Democratic primary and defeated Gary T. Sperling in the general election, winning 52.5% of the vote. [2]
