Patricia Evans Koch is a juvenile judge in the 9th Judicial District, Division E in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. She was elected to this court on October 15, 2005[1] and became the juvenile judge in January of 2006.[2][3] Her current term expires on December 31, 2014.[4]

Education

Koch received her B.A. degree in History from the University of Louisiana - Monroe and her J.D. degree from Loyola University School of Law in 1991.[2]

Legal career

Koch worked as a mediator for the Office of Workers' Compensation for three years prior to becoming an Administrative Law Judge for that office. She then joined the 9th Judicial District in February of 1999 as a Hearing Officer, dealing with child support and domestic violence cases. She was elected District Court Judge in October of 2005.[2][3]
