Richard M. Neiter is a Federal Bankruptcy Court Judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Central District of California. Richard was appointed May 18, 2006 by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and his term expires May 17, 2020.[1]

Education

Judge Neiter attended the University of California at Los Angeles for his Bachelor of Science in 1959 (with honors) and the University of Southern California Law Center, for his Juris Doctor in 1962). He later attended Pepperdine University School of Law for general and advanced courses in Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.[1]

Legal career

From 1962 to 2006 Neiter was a member of Stutman, Treister & Glatt Professional Corporation and from 1995 to 2006 he was a mediator for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.[1]
