Virginia Ward is a judge for the Salt Lake City Justice Court in the Utah Third Judicial District.[1] Judge Ward was first appointed to this position in July 2002.[2]

Biography
Ward earned her BA in Political Science from the University of Utah in 1989. She went on to receive her JD from the University of Utah College of Law in 1993. From 1994 to 2000, she served as senior assistant Salt Lake City prosecutor. She then worked as a director of the Office of Administrative Hearings, Utah Department of Human Services, as an Administrative Law Judge. Ward was appointed to the Salt Lake City Justice Court by Mayor Ross C. Anderson in July of 2002. She has served in that position since and is now Presiding Judge.[2]
